The fifth car to carry the Longtail name, the McLaren 600LT Spider embodies the series' philosophy of track-focused dynamics, increased power, and reduced weight. Its ultra-light retractable hard top roof vanishes beneath its tonneau cover at the press of a button, drawing the driver even deeper into the immersive Longtail experience.
Just like every McLaren that earned the Longtail name before it, the McLaren 600LT Spider is aggressively aerodynamic and obsessively light. Its unique carbon fibre MonoCell II chassis is so strong that no extra stiffening was needed to deliver the same extraordinary performance and agility in the convertible version.
The McLaren 600LT Spider equals the performance of its coupé counterpart. Propelled by a McLaren 3.8-litre twin-turbocharged V8, it takes just 2.9 seconds to accelerate from 0-100 kph (0-62 mph). The top of its range lies at 324 kph (201 mph).
Drop the roof, and the sound and sensation of blistering speed truly set this car apart.
