The McLaren 570S Spider brought true supercar attributes – such as carbon fibre construction, a mid-engined layout and extreme performance – to the world of luxury sports cars.
Like its Formula 1™ cousins, the 570S has a carbon fibre MonoCell at its core. Its immense rigidity and strength mean that – unlike other hard top convertibles – the McLaren 570S Spider required no additional stiffening of the chassis. It carries the high-level performance, dynamic excellence and impressive refinement expected of a spider sportscar.
The front of the McLaren 570S Spider is strikingly low, creating a poised stance that emphasises its potential for high-speed thrills. The crisp contours of the bonnet slice through air, guiding it over sculpted bodywork towards the side intakes and rear of the car.
The dihedral doors – an iconic McLaren feature – offer easy access, while guiding air into the side intakes to feed the radiators. An elegant design true to McLaren's philosophy of 'everything for a reason'.
